In orbit around planet CKA
Made it through the Udemy CKA course today and even managed to muddle through all the Lab Tests. Quite the feeling of accomplishment getting to the end.
Now the real work starts reviewing all of the Labs to test my recall rate and polish up on the concepts I stumbled over along the path to completion. Then on to KillerShell tests and more Udemy Kubernetes courses.
I feel like I have a good understanding of Kubernetes now after completing the KubeCraft Kubernetes course and then the Udemy CKA certification course.
Would I recommend the Udemy CKA course? Definitely.
Doing the Labs really pointed out the places where I missed some critical “glue” between the various Kubernetes moving parts.
Would I recommend KubeCraft? Most definitely,
They offer a broader approach to DevOps careers with emphasis on basic fundamentals. That makes it a breeze to navigate the new concepts in Kubernetes. It gave me a solid base to land the additional details shared within the CKA Udemy course.
It is time to make flash cards to spot test concepts and really drill in the material before taking the certification test.
